In 2009, the State Board of Education endorsed the use of the Texas Performance Standards Project to meet the special needs of gifted students.  The standards are product based and just a few of the projects are listed below.

Kindergarten:  Weather to the Extreme
                      Do Your Part for Art  

First Grade:    It's A Family Affair-Study of Culture and Tradition
                       Animal Nation-In depth study of animals

Second Grade:  The Ripple Effect-Study of Water
                       Who's Who-The Study of Biography

Third Grade:  Face to Face with Symmetry and Patterns
                    Building a Business-Toys and Games

Fourth Grade:  Innovation Celebration or Enigmas and many others
