Jesus Espinosa Terrazas was selected for the prestigious NASA STEM Enhancement in Earth and Space Science (SEES) Summer Internship at The University of Texas at Austin Center for Space Research.

In the release of the 2026 TEA campus and district ratings, Bastrop ISD is reporting meaningful academic progress across the district, with more campuses earning higher accountability ratings, improved student performance in reading and mathematics, and gains among emergent bilingual students.
